Mothers of Purl Yarns hosts several free, ongoing events. We’d love to have you join us to share conversation and knitting or crocheting tips and experiences. Knitters (and crocheters) of all levels are welcome. No registration is required; just come and enjoy.
Knit Night: Every Wedneday at 6:30pm. This is an open knitting circle. Bring whatever you are working on and come to chat and stitch for a couple of hours. While infants in arms are always welcome, most knitters find that once their little ones are crawling, they do more chasing than knitting.
Spinning Saturdays: The first Saturday of every month at 10am. This is an open spinning circle for drop spindlers and wheel spinners. Bring your fiber and favorite wheel or spindle and join us to spin and talk about favorite fibers and techniques. While this is not a formal class, you are welcome to bring questions for open discussion.
Knit-A-Long: Join us Saturdays at noon to work on this epic shawl. Most of us started back in January of 2013, but we are still working our way through this beauty. It is never too late to join, come by to see what we are working on and benefit from our experiences. While this is not a formal class, you are welcome to bring questions for open discussion.
